3 Months Old

Look who is 3 months old already!

Tanner decided to get the jumper out of the box in the basement and give it a try. I can't believe he already fits into this thing. I know he is a big boy but sheesh...his feet even touch the ground. He is so happy in it. I think it's his new favorite toy.

Just over the last week or so, he has been babbling a lot more, laughing a lot more, still smiling and rolling over! He can roll from his tummy to his back. His sleeping patterns are completely random still although, I would like for him to figure it all out before I go back to work in a few weeks. As far as weight, lenght, hc, we don't go back to the doctor for a check-up until 4 months. I'm sure he's around 16 lbs though. Big Boy!

Colorado Trip

Saturday the 10th, Tanner, Griffin, and I packed up and drove all the way to Breckenridge, CO. My parents, sister, brother-in-law and my Grandpa and his wife all went too. It was such a great trip and Griffin did awesome! The drive was approximately 12 hours and Griffin practically slept the entire time. He would wake up, want a bottle, play for a little bit and then fall right back asleep. It was so nice that he was content in the car.

It was a very relaxing trip for the most part and I was so spoiled to have a lot of help with Griffin. Our cabin was wonderful and in a pretty good location too. We spent most of our time in Breckenridge; however, we did venture out to Vail and also spent our last day/night in Denver. I would say it was a very successful trip!

We even got a chance to sneak away for a date! We ate at the Blue River Bistro...very yummy!

Tanner was playing peek-a-boo with him in the car and Grif was just cracking up!

He gets so proud of himself when he does "so big"...it's a crack up.

It's just about bed time. He loves his lovey.

Baby Drool

Have you ever seen this much drool come from a 2 month old??? This is crazy...I swear he is getting his first tooth already, who knows!

4th of July

Since it was Griffin's first 4th, I was a little leery about leaving the house to watch fireworks. I was afraid he would not like them so we decided to stay at home and have a couple of friends over. Well, just as the fireworks were about to start, it started to downpour! So I guess his first 4th was pretty unproductive. He went to bed at normal time, so he really didn't see any fireworks...I'm sure he heard them from our neighbors though.

Here are a couple of pictures of Griffin with his friend, Henry.

Henry was so curious about Griffin, he kept reaching out to grab him and here he is holding Griffin's hand. Too cute!

The daddy's with their "nakee babies".

Tutus

The moment I found out Griffin was a boy, I was a bit bummed since I wouldn't be able to make him really cute bows and tutus. Therefore, I decided to make some for a couple of really cute newborn girls that I know. Hopefully, Griffin's girlfriends will wear these for him on his first dates.

Congratulations to the Becker's on their newest addition, Brooklyn Rose and congratulations to the Hamilton's on their first born, Ellarie June! Both born on June 29th.

2 Month Block Photo Shoot

I haven't taken his 2 month block picture yet so I thought I would do that today. The outfit I bought a couple weeks ago and it said 6/9 months so I thought perfect, I'll use this for his 4 month (professional) photo shoot. Wrong! It does run a little small so I thought he might as well wear it now. Yes, my child is only 2 months and wearing 6/9 month clothes...it's just fine, he's just a big boy!
