We have an avocado! It's really amazing to me how these fruits differ in size. They all seem pretty much the same to me. It's alright though...according to all of the books, baby is growing!Apparently, the baby can now hear. (I better watch what I say and the tone of my voice!) Luckily, I read out loud daily to my kindergartners so I know I am getting my daily reading in for the baby; plus, they're all kids books too. Tanner started playing music for the baby. It's really fun to see him get so excited over the littlest things. Right now, the baby is listening to a lot of Jack Johnson, Ben Harper, Matt Costa, Bob Marley and some other random artists. He's hoping the baby comes out singing all of our favorite songs!
Just last week, I started to notice my pooch. It isn't so big that I am in maternity clothes yet but I definitely am filling out my clothes. Just today, I had to unbutton my jeans. It was a little uncomfortable.
A couple of weeks ago, I was looking at a baby furniture store that was relocating and saw a crib and dresser I just loved. After talking Tanner into looking at it and also looking around at other stores, we decided that was the set we loved the most. My parents helped load it into the trucks and set it up. (We decided the baby's room will be what used to be "Jessi's room" or the guest bedroom and the office would serve as both the office still and also the guest room. Jessi has already tried out her new room and says she sleeps just as well as she did in the other room.) Below are a couple of pictures of my parents and Tanner setting up the crib.
