A while back (maybe this summer), I came across a blog that showed a DIY pumpkin topiary. I thought it looked pretty easy and like something I could do. Well, when I actually wanted to do it, then I couldn't find the blog anymore. So I figured, it couldn't be too difficult...Hobby Lobby here I come! After a few trips, I ended up getting all the supplies I thought would be needed and started on the craft. I think it turned out pretty neat, considering I didn't remember the steps. Here it is!
Meanwhile, again blog-stocking, I came across this recipe, slow cooker roasted chicken (from my favorite blog,
www.bakedbree.com) Delicious! It smelled like fall in our house between this and the candles. :)

| now finished! After it cooks in the crock pot all day, you stick it in the broiler for a couple of minutes. |
Now, for the "work in progress" project for this weekend...we received an old "hutch" from Tanner's grandma that we are glazing and making into a new cabinet for our living. Tanner took off the doors and we are going to put baskets in replace, holding G's toys. Getting ready to glaze it, we have only sanded it down and cleaned it up right now. Check back for the finished product.
