Spring Break

This year, Spring Break was a lot different.  Normally, I would sleep in until, well...11:00, lay around the house and then go to bed and start it all over again the next day.  This year went something like this...sleep in until 7:30 (yes, that is still sleeping in!), play with Grif, put him down for his morning nap around 9:30, watch DVR'd shows, lunch, try to run errands before the next nap about 2:00, play, make dinner, play, then finally relax!  Even though my days are way different, I wouldn't change it for the anything!

Cheeseball!

He loves playing with his doggy.

Earmuffs!...Ha, when you say "earmuffs", he does this.

The weather was so nice, we had to get outside.

Earmuffs again!

Talking on the phone

Telling me all about it!

Tanner and I were talking the other night about how we absolutely love this age that Grif is at.  He is too much fun and amazes us everyday with something new.  Here are a few things he has started to do:

  • waving hello/bye-bye (he will wave at anyone and anything!) When we go on walks, he waves at all of the cars driving by.
  • clapping
  • "earmuffs"
  • high-fives
  • blowing kisses
  • when you say,
    • "What does a bunny do?" he responds, "hop, hop, hop".
    •  "What does a rooster, elephant, sheep, etc say" he will mimic the sounds
  • talk on the phone
